    In modern times, job-related constraints and the changing structure of society has contributed greatly to sedentary lifestyles that restrict physical activity. In such a situation any opportunity for movement should be viewed with approval rather than be considered as a difficulty.

    What You Need:

    At least 30 minutes of physical activity of moderate intensity on as many days as possible, preferably on all days.

           You can break it down into three stretches of 10 minutes each & spread it over the day

           To make it easier, you can use whatever you typically do in the course of your daily activities to carry out these exercises.

    • Walk at least some distance on your way to work.
    • Avoid elevators & use stairs instead.
    • You can do neck rolls & arm raises while sitting on your desk.
    • Jog or skip while watching T.V.
    • Set the morning alarm 10 minutes early & do some stretching exercises.
    • Take a brisk walk after lunch.

    • Include whole grains, low-fat dairy products, fruits, vegetables, and nuts in your diet.

    • Keep personal problems personal
